Our vision is analogous to and best symbolized by the Soaring Golden Eagle. This majestic bird represents the experience of flight to great opportunities resulting from the intellectual, physical, creative and spiritual growth attained through the KCHS Experience.
Our vision further suggests that young adults attending KCHS will connect their educational and personal aspirations and successfully integrate their skills and talents in order to achieve excellence in all their endeavours. In this way we help the students of today become the leaders of tomorrow.
We also believe it is important to make the KCHS Experience available to as many students as possible regardless of income. That is why we strive to ensure that qualifying families have access to financial aid from a wide variety of sources including the Diocese of Erie, the Kennedy Catholic Tuition Assistance Program, Pennsylvania’s Tuition Assistance Program, and more than 17 named and unnamed scholarship funds.
In addition to providing access to financial aid, we work continually to keep tuition at an affordable level. The actual cost of educating a KCHS student is $6,850. Base tuition for the 2010-2011 school year has been set at $4,245. This means that every student attending KCHS receives a $2,105 scholarship. A quality education is an investment in your child’s future. We strive to keep the cost of this investment as low as possible for the families that we serve. The difference between the actual cost and tuition is made up through continual development efforts and parish subsidies.
